My delightful Year 1 class this afternoon has the enjoyment of exploring Japanese Girl's Day festival much to the char grin of the boys, till I informed them that next week we would cover Boy's Day festival.....(smiles all round after that!) Each student was then interested in creating their own Japanese inspired Geisha or Samurai puppet. I believe they are ever so cute....
